House of Dawn Steakhouse is a premium dining destination in Richmond, BC. We are currently looking for a friendly, organized, and energetic Host/Hostess to join our front-of-house team.

As the first point of contact for our restaurant, you will set the tone for our guests' dining experience. If you thrive in a fast-paced hospitality workplace and love providing great customer service, we want to meet you!

As a Host/Hostess, you’ll create a welcoming first impression and help guests enjoy a smooth, comfortable restaurant visit. You’ll coordinate arrivals and seating, communicate clearly with guests and colleagues, and support attentive hospitality throughout service.

Duties
Welcome guests warmly, manage wait times, and guide parties to their tables.
Handle reservations and guest inquiries with professional phone etiquette and transparent communication.
Coordinate seating and service flow with the team, sharing relevant guest needs and updates.




Use POS or Micros POS tools as needed and assist with serving or other food service tasks.

Qualifications
Required:
Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is highly preferred.
Ability to stay calm, organized, and smiling during busy dinner rushes.
Strong communication and multitasking skills.
Fluency in English is required; conversational Mandarin or Cantonese is a strong asset for our Richmond location.
Flexible availability, specifically for evening and weekend shifts.
