Job Overview

As a PSW, you provide respectful, person-centred support that helps individuals maintain comfort, dignity, and independence. You assist with daily routines and adapt your approach to each person’s needs, preferences, and abilities.

Duties
Support patient care and senior care, including personal care, mobility, and daily living activities.
Assist with meal preparation, light cleaning, and medication administration according to established care plans and procedures.
Provide attentive support for people living with dementia or disabilities, and those receiving hospice care.

Experience

Required:



Practical caregiving skills, transparent communication, patience, and the ability to support daily care tasks, including secure heavy lifting when needed. Preferred: Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, home care, nursing, senior care, dementia care, hospice care, patient care, or working with individuals with disabilities; meal preparation, cleaning, and medication administration experience are also valuable.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
