Job Overview:
We are seeking an experience and detail-oriented Purchaser to join our team. The role supports procurement and all supply chain functions. Ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years experience in similar purchasing role
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day to day purchasing activities
Assist with the procurement process, including sourcing and evaluating potential vendors
Prepare purchase orders and ensure accuracy of order details
Coordinate with vendors to resolve any issues or discrepancies in orders
Follow up with suppliers regarding order confirmations, delivery schedules and backorders
Assist in the development and implementation of purchasing strategies
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment of stock
Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions
Source recent suppliers, obtain quotations, negotiate pricing and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience in similar purchasing role




Solid negotiation skills and excellent communication in English both verbal and written
Experience in Sage 300 is an asset
Proficient in Microsoft Excel including formulas, sorting, filtering and spreadsheet management
Experience with Inventory Management and purchasing systems
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in purchase orders and records
Ability to multitask, problem solve and meet deadlines
Self-motivated, dependable and able to work independently as we as part of a team
The employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

Job Type: Full-time
