Note: Training is 8 weeks approx. on day shift
Rate of Pay : $27.09 /hour plus $1.00/hour shift premium (once moved to shift)
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 15:25 to 1:55am
Position Summary:
Set up production equipment
Feed corrugated sheets into equipment
Monitor and remedy production and quality issues
Input operating system data entry and load tags applications
Prepare, clean and return tooling/print plates to and from storage
Palletize / Unitize product
Bale scrap/sweep/housekeeping/keep a clean safe working area
Complete quality or other department reports
Responsible for issuing tasks to equipment’s crew as needed
Perform all other tasks assigned by Supervisor
Must be flexible to work in other departments throughout the plant
Qualifications
Must be able to read and interpret Induspac drawings and specifications
Fluent with basic measurement devices in Imperial and Metric with conversion capabilities
Technical capabilities to set up and operate production equipment
Must have basic computer skills and be able to learn operating systems
Must be organized, detail and quality oriented
Must demonstrate safe work ethics
Experience operating production equipment and working as a team.
Physically capable of handling heavy components and tools
Have a positive, engaged, contributor style attitude
Previous work experience / training / education is an asset
Working Conditions: The position requires continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, heavy lifting and carrying. Work outside and inside, work around machinery.
