Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter/Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining structural steel and iron components across various projects. This role requires a solid understanding of blueprint reading, and the use of specialized tools and equipment. The position offers prospects to work on diverse projects, including scaffolding, and structural frameworks while contributing to the safety and integrity of our people and construction sites.

Duties
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
Utilize power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components.
Rigging heavy materials using cranes or telehandler to position steel structures accurately.
Measure materials with calipers and other measuring tools to ensure proper fit and alignment.
Install structural supports, and other miscellaneous iron components according to project specifications.
Operate machinery such as cranes and telehandlers safely and efficiently in accordance with safety protocols.




Conduct tasks as needed for custom fabrication or adjustments.
Ability to follow safety guidelines at all times to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and colleagues.
Assist in assembly processes involving steel frameworks or related structures.

Requirements
Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during fabrication and installation processes.
Knowledge of construction safety standards is essential.
Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions as required on construction sites.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for accurate work execution.
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Must have personal protective equipment such as steel-toed boots, hard hat and a harness

Aerial Lift and Aerial Work Platform
Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS)
Fall Arrest Protection Training

Pay: $18.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 44.0 per week
