Supply Educator provides adaptable classroom support, helping maintain a welcoming, engaging learning environment as needs arise. The role involves teaching and supporting children across learning activities, including math, while responding thoughtfully to different abilities and developmental needs.
Responsibilities
Provide classroom coverage when regular staff members are absent.
Supervise children and ensure their safety and well-being at all times.
Maintain a clean, organized, and positive learning workplace.
Work collaboratively with educators and other staff members.
Follow all centre policies, procedures,
and applicable childcare regulations.
Qualifications
Valid Standard First Aid and CPR certification, as required for the position.
A valid Vulnerable Sector Check, as required.
Solid communication, teamwork, and classroom management skills.
Patient, dependable, versatile, and passionate about working with children.
Ability to work on-call and accept shifts based on the centre's staffing needs
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3.0 – 5.0 per week
