Job Overview

As a Bakery General Labour team member, you’ll support daily bakery production by handling products carefully, keeping work areas sanitary, and following food safety practices. This hands-on role contributes to consistent, well-prepared products and helps the production team keep work moving smoothly.

Duties
Work as part of a team to Produce, Package, label, and organize bakery products.
Assist with food processing and manufacturing tasks, following established procedures and safe handling practices.
Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, and work areas to support a hygienic production setting.
Help move materials and products; use a forklift when trained and authorized, and report equipment concerns.

Qualifications

Required:



Practical ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures, handle packaging tasks carefully, perform basic math for counts, and communicate equipment or workflow concerns. Bakery knowledge supports protected, attentive work around production equipment. Preferred: Experience in the food industry, food processing, or manufacturing, along with forklift experience, is an advantage.
