Summary:

This is an chance to be an integral part of the Accounting Team at Lipman Family Farms, responsible for providing key decision support to executive leadership in a fast-growing, nation-wide fresh produce company. This role provides vital financial performance information and analysis to Sr. Management and ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and record journal entries
Prepare and analyze financial reports both GAAP reporting and operational reporting
Verify and analyze account balances to ensure accuracy; explain issues and variances
Resolve accounting errors by investigating and identifying issues then documenting and correcting as required
Participate in month-end and year-end close activities
Maintain the integrity of the general ledger
Participate in year-end financial statement audit




Ad hoc projects as assigned

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
2 years proven success in a similar role
Strong attention to detail, organization and follow through
Ability to complete projects timely and accurately is critical
Advanced computer skills; particularly Microsoft Excel
Robust written and oral communication skills
Driven individual with the ability to complete tasks timely and accurately is critical
Solid business acumen
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Experience in agriculture or manufacturing industries a plus
Experience with IBM Cognos TM1 or Microsoft Power BI a plus

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
