Job Overview

The Punjabi Speaking Health Care Aide provides respectful, person-centred support to individuals, including seniors and people living with disabilities. Punjabi communication helps build trust, support daily routines, and keep individuals and their care teams informed.

Duties
Assist with personal care, daily activities, mobility, and protected heavy lifting within the individual’s care plan.
Prepare meals, complete light cleaning, and support a comfortable, tidy living setting.
Provide medication administration and nursing-related support as directed by the care plan and applicable procedures.
Offer compassionate senior, dementia, hospice, home, or assisted living care, adapting support to each person’s needs.

Requirements

Required: Practical caregiving and patient care capabilities,



explicit Punjabi communication, safe assistance with mobility and lifting, meal preparation, cleaning, and careful attention when supporting medication routines. Preferred: Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, senior care, hospice care, home care, dementia care, nursing, or working with individuals with disabilities.
