Perth Precision Machining & Manufacturing is seeking a Saw Operator for our day shift 7am - 3.30pm. The ideal candidate should have hands on experience with industrial machinery. Accuracy in reading a tape measure is critical.
Responsibilities:
Accurate measurement of raw steel
Operate an overhead crane
Read blueprints/drawings to confirm cutting requirements
Operate programmable CNC saw machines
Keep a well organized work area
Check steel stock and request reordering when low
Qualifications:
Previous experience in operating a CNC saw machine (manual/programmable) is an asset
Familiarity with plant tools and equipment
Ability to handle physical workload
Accurately read tape measure and use of a caliper is critical
Valid crane operators certificate an asset
Valid forklift licence an asset
