Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the well-being and independence of clients, offering support with daily activities, personal care, and health management. This role is essential for creating a safe, comfortable, and respectful workplace for those in need of assistance, including seniors and individuals with disabilities or dementia.

Duties
Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
Support with medication administration following prescribed guidelines
Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a hygienic setting
Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
Monitor clients’ health status and report any concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure safety during movement around the home or facility




Support clients with activities that promote independence and engagement in social or recreational activities

Skills
Experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or home care environments preferred
Knowledge of senior care, dementia care, and working with individuals with disabilities
Ability to administer medication accurately and follow healthcare protocols
Robust caregiving skills with a compassionate and patient demeanor
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams
Ability to perform light cleaning and meal preparation efficiently
Flexibility to adapt to different client needs and work schedules
Prior experience in caregiving roles is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for necessary skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 70 – 80 per week
