Requirements for this position:
PSW certification or diploma is a must.
First Aid Certificate and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate (within 1 year)
Police Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
TB Test and Immunizations (up to date)

Responsibilities/Duties

Provides personal care to the client, supporting with transfers and transitions.
Support client to perform ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living) including, support with bathing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and more
Assist client in safely ambulating and transferring
Perform delegated tasks as required
Promote client independence
Provides psychological and emotional support
Provide explicit, timely communication to the client, family and any stakeholders
Promotes a safe workplace for both the client and worker
