TheCamp

Founded in 1947 Kandalore offers an un-matched camp experience for children 6 – 16, providing the best of both canoe-tripping and camp activities. The camp prides itself on its warm and supportive community where children are made to feel included in the camp culture. The supportive nature of the campla allows for the campers to try new activities and develop new skills with the help of caring staff members.

Kandaloreis looking for a positive and enthusiastic individual to fill the role as aCamp Driver. The successful applicant will be friendly,



responsible,well-organized and be prepared to drive at any time of day or night in theevent of an emergency. Familiarity or experience with summer camp isrecommended. This position requires someone who is flexible, patient and happyto support others.

The roleincludes conducting town-runs to pick up necessary supplies, assisting withairport (Toronto Pearson Airport) and Toronto pick up and drop off and takingcampers and staff to the hospital. Responsibilities also include contactingcanoe trips as needed in remote/wilderness areas. The drive is responsible forvehicle cleanliness and maintenance, obeying all safety and traffic laws andadditional support in camp.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Full G license
- Clean driving record
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- Ability to problem solve
- Flexible and able to adapt tochange
- Enjoys working with children
- Level of comfort driving with atrailer considered an asset.
