Support quality dining service for Northwood residents with food safety, table service, and accurate diet modifications across decentralized meal sites. Twelve-hour shifts apply.

This Dietary Aide position serves residents within Northwood’s continuing care workplace. Responsibilities include preparing menu items, beverages, desserts, supplements, and nourishment while maintaining presentation and nutritional value. You will communicate with nursing staff, respond to service requests, and report concerns to the Food Service Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide quality table service while following resident diet modifications
- Prepare, portion, label, store, and serve foods safely
- Respond to meal service requests through communication systems




- Maintain dining room tables, dressings, sanitation, and appearance
- Report resident service concerns to the Food Service Supervisor

Requirements:

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Two to three years of food service experience
- Long term health care experience preferred
- Experience with elderly residents considered an asset
- Ability to lift 50 pounds at a time
