This Dishwasher Porter position supports clean, secure kitchen and designated building areas. You will sanitize dishes, equipment, and surfaces while handling waste and moving supplies. The work includes dishwashing, food preparation-area cleaning, general custodial duties, and equipment checks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils
- Polish silver using approved equipment and procedures
- Maintain dishwashing and kitchen areas safely
- Clean food preparation surfaces and kitchen equipment
- Complete custodial duties, waste removal, and supply movement
Requirements:
- Valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
