Provide surgical nursing and post-anaesthetic care at North York General in a full time temporary position with eight-hour shifts.

As a Registered Nurse in the Surgery/Post Anaesthetic Care Unit, you will provide patient- and family-driven care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary providers while assessing, educating, preventing, maintaining, and restoring health. Support teaching, learning, research, innovation, and health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide culturally sensitive patient and family-driven care
Assess, educate, prevent, maintain, and restore patient health
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care providers and organizational peers
Prioritize care and respond appropriately during emergencies




Follow health and safety policies and guidelines

Requirements:
Diploma or baccalaureate degree in nursing
Registration in positive standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Current Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
Critical Care 1 and Critical Care 2 completion
Two years current PACU/CCU and adult and paediatric surgical experience
