This Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic reports to the Manager, Maintenance. You will address mechanical issues, complete preventative maintenance, and support Sanjel equipment operations. The position requires Red Seal certification, a current CVIP license, and your own tools.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled CVIP inspections and fleet maintenance tasks
Diagnose equipment faults and determine required repairs
Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems
Test repaired equipment against manufacturers’ specifications
Complete equipment refurbishments, updates, and routine maintenance

Requirements:
Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic Certificate with Inter-provincial Red Seal
Current CVIP license and full tool kit preferred
Knowledge of hydraulic systems, pumps, and electrical skills
Unrestricted Class 5 license with clean driver’s abstract
Thorough safety knowledge and practice
