Serve residents as a Dietary Aide with Optima Living, applying safe food handling and respectful communication across meal service. Support personalized dining experiences.

This position assists with food preparation, meal and beverage service, and cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas. You will take meal orders, answer menu questions, and follow dietary restrictions and individual preferences. The work supports residents’ dignity, self-determination, and maximum personal independence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Take meal orders and answer residents’ menu questions
- Maintain proper presentation, portions, and serving temperatures
- Prepare coffee, tea, nourishments, and other beverages
- Set up and clean dining areas for meal service
- Operate commercial dishwashers according to established protocols

Requirements:

- Food services experience is an asset
- Residential care or mental health experience is an asset
- Food Safe Certification is required for employment
- Solid oral and written communication skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and solve problems
