The Director of Research leads the Canadian research team and translates strategic priorities into research, policy, engagement, and business activities. This full time position oversees high-profile analysis, communicates company policies, and represents the Canadian market to clients and issuers. Research Leads and Managers may report directly to this role.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the Canadian research team
Review and publish high-profile or contentious Proxy Papers
Lead Canadian policy updates and proxy season reviews
Oversee client engagement, escalations, and strategic presentations




Inform senior management about Canadian market insights

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and seven years’ relevant experience
At least two years in a senior position
Excellent English communication and sophisticated research editing skills
Broad knowledge of governance principles and regulatory frameworks
Experience engaging issuers, investors, and institutions
