This Staff Therapist position serves the Occupational Therapy department within the Winnipeg Health Region. Recent relevant clinical experience and continuing education in the designated clinical area are preferred. The position requires communication, skilled judgment, organization, and collaboration across disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply occupational therapy knowledge within the clinical setting
Use clinical reasoning and skilled judgment
Organize and complete assignments with minimal supervision
Work cooperatively with other healthcare disciplines
Adapt to current clinical concepts and best practices
Requirements:
Accredited Occupational Therapy entry-to-practice credential
Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba
CPR training meeting employer policy requirements
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Current required background checks before employment
