Perform welding, millwright, and machining work for Grain Millers in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, supporting plant equipment maintenance on a fixed shift schedule.
This permanent full time position completes high-quality installations, repairs, and maintenance across the site. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, equipment inspection, and fabrication. You will read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematic drawings while maintaining accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete daily maintenance of plant equipment
Inspect, install, adjust, and maintain mechanical equipment
Troubleshoot, repair, assemble, and dismantle machinery
Operate machine tools to fabricate required parts
Maintain accurate reports and protected work areas
Requirements:
Valid journeyperson ticket or completed second-year relevant schooling
Previous welding experience is required
Mechanical, hydraulic, automation, and pneumatic maintenance experience beneficial
Robust organizational and communication skills
Comfort working independently at heights and in confined spaces
