Perform cardiac and vascular imaging in patient homes as a full-time travel sonographer supporting Hawthorne Health’s decentralized clinical study.
Hawthorne Health seeks dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers for a four-to-five-month W2 contract. Conduct regional home visits, averaging approximately 25 monthly, while following study protocols and ASE Standards. This field-based work requires independent operation, patient communication, and portable ultrasound management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel locally or across state lines for patient home visits
- Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment
- Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging studies per protocol
- Acquire, label, and document images for cardiology review
- Monitor comfort, troubleshoot equipment, and complete preliminary reports
Requirements:
- Active cardiac and vascular imaging registrations required
- Basic Life Support certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Full time or close-to-full-time availability
- Personal computer, reliable internet, and independent digital skills
