As a General Claims Adjuster on the Technical Services Team, you will handle multi-line claims, focusing on commercial and personal property. The work includes loss investigation, settlement negotiation, expert coordination, and customer relationship management. You will support large-loss claims across diverse industries and geographic regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate multi-line claims through detailed loss investigation
Review and analyze experts’ reports
Select and direct independent experts
Negotiate settlements under provincial licensing requirements
Identify and pursue subrogation prospects
Requirements:
Five or more years handling large-loss commercial claims
Experience with liability and technical claims handling
Construction and property background preferred
Commercial policy interpretation experience
Licensed or pursuing CIP or FCIP designation
Apply technical claims handling, property expertise, and settlement negotiation skills while supporting Crawford GTS customers in Mississauga.
