Bring peri-operative nursing expertise to Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland, Ontario, providing direct patient care through clinical judgment and technical skill.

This permanent part time Registered Nurse position supports Operating Room care at GBGH. The RN works collaboratively within the healthcare team, applying theoretical knowledge, OR experience, and critical thinking in the peri-operative setting. Care follows the College of Nurses of Ontario’s three-factor framework.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room
Apply peri-operative theoretical knowledge and technical skills
Use the three-factor framework in care decisions
Consult and collaborate with healthcare providers
Support positive patient outcomes through problem solving

Requirements:
Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration in positive standing
Current B.C.L.S., ACLS, and PALS certifications
OR certification and current Operating Room experience
Excellent clinical, decision-making, and critical-thinking skills
Proficiency with IV starts and phlebotomy

Use Operating Room experience, peri-operative knowledge, and team-oriented nursing judgment to deliver direct care at GBGH.
