South Country Co-op is hiring a Pharmacist reporting to the Pharmacy Manager. You will support pharmacy operations through prescription filling, pharmaceutical ordering, customer information, and patient-focused care. The position includes clinical services, qualified advice on prescriptions and over-the-counter products, and supervision of Pharmacy Assistants and Technicians.

Key Responsibilities:
Interpret prescriptions for therapeutic appropriateness and completeness
Fill prescriptions and manage medication dispensing accurately
Provide counselling and skilled prescription advice




Administer injections and immunizations
Supervise Pharmacy Assistants and Technicians

Requirements:
Hold a recognized B.Sc.Phm. or Pharm.D.
Be registered with the Alberta College of Pharmacy
Possess or pursue Additional Prescribing Authority designation
Know Kroll pharmacy system and Microsoft Office programs
Demonstrate leadership, integrity, communication, and analytical skills
