J.S. Held seeks a Consultant with at least two years of estimating experience in restoration, insurance, or remediation. The work involves commercial and residential projects, site evaluations, estimating software, documentation, and expert reports. Candidates from construction, reconstruction, roofing, appraisal, mitigation, cost analysis, or disaster recovery backgrounds are welcome.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule inspections and evaluate property damage scopes
Estimate commercial and residential projects using industry software
Review project documents, contracts, reports, and correspondence
Provide technical direction to other consultants
Support client relationships and business development activities
Requirements:
Two or more years of estimating experience
Restoration, insurance, or remediation field experience
Proficiency with Xactimate, Symbility, RS Means, or similar
Robust analytical, writing, and critical thinking skills
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel thirty percent
Use restoration estimating, inspection, and reporting expertise to help J.S. Held clients evaluate property damage and risk.
