Lead winter warming operations in Edmonton with The Mustard Seed, guiding staff and volunteers through crisis intervention and de-escalation.

The temporary, full time Winter Warming Lead reports to the Site Lead at Canora Community Impact Centre. You will shape a secure, warm, welcoming setting while overseeing shifts. The work supports guests through programs, referrals, emergencies, and community relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead employees and volunteers during assigned shifts
Promote and facilitate community programs as needed
Provide conflict resolution and crisis de-escalation
Respond to emergencies, including suspected drug poisoning
Complete incident reports and safety checks

Requirements:
Social Work degree or equivalent experience
Two years working directly with vulnerable groups
One year of leadership experience
Effective communication, conflict management, and networking skills
Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills
