The Universal Group seeks Traffic Control Persons for dispatchable Interior regions. You will help maintain safe traffic flow by setting up zones, adjusting equipment, and responding to hazards. The position requires a valid BC Traffic Control Person certificate, effective communication, and de-escalation skills. Minimum availability includes three consistent weekdays, with occasional weekend work available.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up traffic control zones and adjust work zone equipment
- Give motorists clear and accurate traffic control directions
- Conduct traffic control within provided training and experience
- Report safety matters,



conflicts, and noncompliance to managers
- Wear required personal protective equipment at worksites

Requirements:

- Valid BC Traffic Control Person certification from a regulatory body
- Effective communication and public de-escalation skills
- Availability for three consistent weekdays at minimum
- Ability to work outdoors in all elements and weather
