Coordinate overnight packaging production in Bedford as Nortera’s Assistant Packaging Supervisor, focusing on line performance, procedures, and employee direction. Sunday and weekday overnight hours are specified.

This assistant supervisor works with the Supervisor and Director of Operations to maintain packaging performance indicators. The work covers production schedules, line starts, operating speeds, equipment adjustments, quality standards, and production staffing. Nortera makes ready-to-cook vegetables and markets Arctic Gardens and Del Monte.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan daily packaging activities from validated production schedules
- Monitor line starts and operating speeds using established standards
- Optimize Blue Print, scales, tapping machines, printers,



and palletizers
- Manage employees assigned to lines and secondary tasks
- Replace the Supervisor during an absence

Requirements:

- Zero to two years’ experience in an industrial workplace
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Comfort working according to pre-established procedures
- Ability to minimize errors during packaging operations
- Ability to communicate effectively
