Diagnose and repair diesel trucks with Penske as an apprentice technician in Laval, Québec, working Monday to Friday from 5:00 to 14:00.

This position supports an experienced truck mechanic’s apprentice developing skills through Penske’s equipment, technology, tools, and technical expertise. You will service tractor trailers and related vehicle systems, including engines, power trains, electrical systems, brakes, suspension, steering, HVAC, and electronics. The role includes preventive maintenance, diagnostics, component replacement, and equipment preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, differentials, brakes, and suspension
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine equipment servicing




- Identify required parts and document warrantable repairs
- Road test vehicles and verify proper operation
- Maintain work area appearance and safety

Requirements:

- Two or more years of tractor trailer maintenance experience
- Current enrollment in an apprentice program
- Government agency membership or registration
- Class 5 driver’s license; obtain Class 3 within six months
- Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions
