Operate a Class 1 commercial vehicle on a line-haul route from Sunday night to Thursday night, departing Prince George at 10:30 pm

Execute freight transfers in Quesnel and switch trailers in Williams Lake, with a possible return stop in Quesnel before returning to Prince George

Finish shift doing some shunting and/or local deliveries as required

Complete pre- and post-trip inspections of equipment and document findings on an Electronic Logging Device (ELD) in compliance with regulations

Ensure all freight is properly secured and loaded to prevent damage, loss, or insurance claims

Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation,



including bills of lading and delivery confirmations

Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to management immediately

Adhere to all Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and maintain a protected driving record

Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery status and any delays or issues
Class 1 license
1 year of pick-up and delivery experience
Knowledge of the area is an asset
Reliable and dependable
Deck experience is an asset
TDG, WHMIS, and Forklift experience are an asset
Must be able to provide a criminal record checkand 2 work-related references
A current driver's abstract
