Use heavy-duty maintenance and diagnostic skills as a full time technician at Emcon Services Inc.’s Atikokan, Ontario shop.
Supporting the Thunder Bay W, Ontario division, this position maintains a fleet of trucks, trailers, and equipment. Work includes annual safety inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance. The description welcomes licensed technicians and apprentices through established apprenticeship developmental programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain trucks, trailers, and equipment within the current fleet
- Perform engine, emission, and electrical diagnostics and repairs
- Service heavy truck hydraulics, pneumatics, brakes, suspension, and steering
- Work with Bosch Rexroth salt management systems
- Perform vehicle breakdown callouts and required overtime
Requirements:
- 310T certification or Motive Power Technician qualification
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs
- Experience operating around heavy-duty industry equipment
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License and DriveON registration
- Apprentices welcome through the developmental program
