Install and service advanced security systems for Johnson Controls customers, using troubleshooting expertise and technical knowledge across field assignments.

As a Security Service Technician, you will install, integrate, commission, inspect, and service access control, CCTV, intrusion alarm, and intercom systems. The work requires proficiency with Windows, MS Server, Microsoft Office Suite, IT network systems, diagnostic equipment, and security platforms including C-Cure 9000, Kantech, Genetec, and Lenel/S2. You will communicate with customers and field teams while documenting system performance and daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install and inspect equipment according to manufacturer specifications
- Coordinate programming, integrations, and commissioning activities




- Diagnose equipment issues and troubleshoot field wiring problems
- Advise customers on solutions restoring system functionality
- Prepare reports documenting activities and system performance

Requirements:

- Valid BC Security TQ Licence required
- Knowledge of IT network systems and Microsoft software
- Experience servicing C-Cure 9000, Kantech, Genetec, or Lenel/S2
- High school diploma or trade school graduation required
- Solid troubleshooting and customer-focused communication skills
