Use cleaning, repair, and equipment skills to maintain UCDSB facilities as a Custodian supporting school operations across assigned worksites.

The Custodian maintains building appearance and operates a specific worksite under Facilities Operations Manager supervision. Duties combine custodial services with preventative maintenance, repairs, adjustments, and supply replenishment. The work may include assignments in other buildings to meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform preventative building maintenance, repairs, and adjustments
- Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as required
- Wash windows, ceilings, walls, and light fixtures
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain floor surfaces
- Work in other buildings as operationally assigned

Requirements:

- Six months cleaning and general maintenance experience in schools
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent education and experience
- Small equipment repair and maintenance experience is an asset
- Ability to safely use ladders and lifts
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle access required
