Lead month-end close, financial reporting, and automation as Controller at Horizon Contracting Group, primarily office-based with possible hybrid flexibility.

Reporting to the VP of Finance, this experienced Controller owns close activities across a growing, multi-entity organization. You will combine technical accounting expertise with financial analysis, systems curiosity, and process improvement. The position supports strategic decision-making through accurate reporting and operational insight.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead monthly and quarterly close across multiple entities
Prepare financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis
Execute consolidation entries and maintain reporting accuracy
Support budgeting, forecasting,



and weekly cash flow forecasting
Lead finance automation and AI initiatives through implementation

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Four to six years progressive accounting experience
Solid understanding of GAAP and ASPE standards
Advanced Excel skills and financial modelling experience
Construction or project-based accounting experience preferred
