Our client is seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Contract Specialist to join their growing team on a permanent basis. This position plays a vital role in coordinating and managing the smooth transfer of advisor blocks of business, whether through MGA changes or buy/sell agreements.

The ideal candidate has experience with transfers, contracts, and working with insurance carriers or MGAs, and thrives in a fast-paced, cooperative environment.

Responsibilities
Manage inbound and outbound advisor block transfers
Collaborate with carriers, MGAs, and segregated fund providers to ensure accurate, timely completion
Submit and track required documentation for valuations and payments




Support orphan client reassignment and business transfers for deceased advisors
Review and reconcile client listings from carrier portals
Maintain accuracy of advisor profiles and transfer records in internal systems
Update WealthServ and FundServ systems to reflect business movements
Track and report progress using internal trackers and Apexa

Requirements
Minimum 1–2 years in insurance or financial services, with direct experience in contracts, transfers, or MGA operations
Proficiency in Apexa is required; WealthServ and/or FundServ experience is an asset
Strong verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders
Ability to manage multiple moving parts with attention to accuracy and timelines
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, detail-heavy workplace
