Job Summary The Project Management Control Testing Manager is responsible for assessing, testing, and monitoring the effectiveness of project management controls across strategic initiatives, technology programs, and operational projects. This role ensures projects adhere to established governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, risk management standards, and internal controls while supporting continuous improvement and remediation activities. The role partners closely with Project Management Offices (PMOs), Risk Management, Audit, Compliance, Technology, and Business teams to identify control gaps, evaluate control effectiveness, and strengthen project delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities
Control Testing & Validation
- Develop and execute risk-based control testing programs for project management processes.
- Assess the operating effectiveness of project controls.
- Validate compliance with project governance frameworks, methodologies, and policies.
- Perform walkthroughs, testing, and evidence reviews to evaluate key controls.
- Document testing results,



findings, observations, and recommendations. Risk & Governance Oversight
- Monitor project adherence to governance standards, risk frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify emerging project risks and control weaknesses.
- Evaluate effectiveness of issue management and remediation activities.
- Provide control-related guidance to project and program teams. Required
- 5+ years of relevant project management, controls, or governance experience
- Direct experience in control testing and/or audit testing
- Experience assessing project controls across Waterfall and Agile projects
- Robust understanding of project governance, risk management, and compliance
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to identify control gaps, review supporting evidence, document findings, and support remediation activities
