GFL Environmental seeks a certified Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain fleet trucks and heavy-duty equipment. You will support vehicle safety, reliability, and daily readiness while using diagnostic equipment, tools, work orders, and repair manuals. Red Seal certification is required, with post-certification experience considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair diesel, CNG, gas, and electric trucks
Maintain related heavy-duty equipment and fleet vehicles
Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and document findings
Complete work orders, order parts,



and track repairs
Review mechanical write-ups and schedule repairs

Requirements:
Red Seal Certification as a Heavy Duty Mechanic required
Minimum one year of post-certification experience preferred
Robust diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Ability to follow manuals, work orders, and safety procedures
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work wide-ranging conditions
