Apply diesel diagnostics and heavy equipment expertise as a Heavy Equipment Service Truck Mechanic serving project sites from Westlock, Alberta. Travel to remote locations may extend over time.

LaPrairie Works Inc., part of LaPrairie Group of Companies, is recruiting for project work. You will inspect, service, maintain, and repair a diversified fleet supporting highway and bridge maintenance, civil construction, slope stabilization, and environmental remediation. The work includes trucks, trailers, machine attachments, and other construction equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
Drive service trucks to various project job sites
Inspect trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment performance
Diagnose faults using computerized testing equipment




Replace faulty parts and repair damaged equipment
Perform routine services and major repairs when necessary

Requirements:
Red Seal Heavy Equipment Mechanic trade certification
Proven diesel or heavy equipment work experience
Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic, electrical, and construction systems
At least a Class 5 driver’s license
Ability to pass required background, physical, and drug screening
