Reporting to the Facilities Supervisor, Skate Staff help maintain a safe, enjoyable environment for all users. The role suits experienced skaters who enjoy customer service and outdoor settings. It also welcomes people entering the workforce with limited or no prior experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Educate participants about skating rules and enforce them
- Serve visitors and the public as a front-line representative
- Clear skaters from ice before resurfacing
- Assist with ice safety protocols during floods
- Address complaints and on-ice issues with supervisor support

Requirements:

- Be at least 16 years old
- Skate comfortably and have ice-skating experience
- Demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills
- Work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Work in varying and extreme weather conditions
