The Service Writer assists the Service Manager with accurate, on-time reports and operational records. The position handles inquiries, work orders, service files, customer profiles, supplies, and claims. Key Responsibilities:
Field internal and external Service Department customer inquiries
Open, control, close, and invoice service work orders
Maintain current service library information and materials
Maintain department filing systems and operational records
Update customer profiles using work order information

Requirements:
Experience using Microsoft Office and internet functions
High School Diploma or equivalent experience
Knowledge of office procedures
General understanding of mechanical or technical terms preferred
Basic knowledge of accounting practices
