Shape Cohere’s enterprise AI foundation by leading data platform engineering across BigQuery, Airflow, dbt, Looker, and Terraform. Work remotely or from global offices.
This senior leadership role owns the full data lifecycle for Cohere’s Analytics and Data Insights team. You will guide ingestion, warehouse modeling, governed access, analytics delivery, and reliability while partnering across Product, Engineering, Security, Business Insights, and Legal. You will also advance the internal analytics agent and its evaluation harness.
Key Responsibilities: Own warehouse buildout, governance, and agentic analytics sequencing
Operate Airflow and Cloud Run orchestration workflows
Model BigQuery data through raw, core, and mart layers
Serve results through Looker, APIs,



and semantic layers
Partner across teams on analytics and compliance requests
Requirements: 10+ years in data engineering, infrastructure, or analytics platforms
Hands-on experience reading Terraform, dbt, and Airflow systems
Experience with cloud warehouses and infrastructure as code
Roadmap ownership spanning teams and company strategy
Comfort working with executives amid ambiguity
Lead Cohere’s data platform strategy with hands-on judgment across analytics engineering, infrastructure, governance, and AI.
