As a senior backend engineer, you will design, develop, and operate Cash Out services for EarnIn community members. The work spans debit card networks, ACH, FedNow, RTP, REST, gRPC, Kafka, and SNS/SQS. You will partner with product, design, data science, and analytics while owning delivery through production.
Key Responsibilities: Design and implement end-to-end Cash Out features
Build reliable transaction flows with reconciliation and auditability
Use Cursor and Claude across engineering workflows
Develop APIs and event-driven backend integrations
Support incidents, observability, and on-call operations
Requirements: Four or more years building backend services
Computer science degree or equivalent practical experience
Hands-on Cursor and Claude engineering experience
Experience delivering backend and full-stack work using AI
Proficiency in contemporary programming languages and databases
Apply backend ownership, AI-assisted engineering, and payment reliability expertise to improve Cash Out member outcomes at EarnIn.
