Position Summary

Enthusiasm and love for children
Effective classroom management skills
Provide children with a “prepared & enhanced environment”. This includes making materials to support the individual needs of the students.
Instruct children in each area of the classroom: giving presentations and lessons in all curriculum areas.
Encourage individual work time to promote independence as well as group work to promote socialization.
Enable children to be as independent as possible.
Always maintain a high level of professionalism.
Follow and implement health and safety standards and protocols.
Conduct parent/teacher interviews.
Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with students, parents, and co-teachers.




Assist with planning and implementation of school special activities and celebrations.
Prepare program documentation.
Maintain & enhance knowledge, skills and abilities through on-going education and professional development activities.
Responsible for assisting with toilet independence learning while demonstrating respect for a child.
Responsible for classroom cleanliness.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education : MACTE-accredited Montessori certification

Mandatory Requirements : Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Certification; Updated Immunization & Current TB Screening; Criminal Reference Check (Vulnerable Sector).

Required experience: Preferred 3 years teaching experience.

Schedule : 8-hour shift
