Support military healthcare at Calian Group Ltd in Wainwright with patient assessment and direct nursing care. This is a full time clinic position.
Calian seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse for its Canadian Forces Base Wainwright facility. The nurse will support adult patients in a primary or ambulatory care setting, delivering assessments, interventions, treatments, education, and administrative care. Clinic hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4pm.
Key Responsibilities: Perform triage, physical examinations, vital signs, and vision testing
Provide wound care, injections, medications, and nursing interventions
Develop care plans and communicate abnormal patient findings
Support respiratory therapy, IV therapy, and minor procedures




Manage medical files, supplies, patient areas, and instruments
Requirements: Graduate from a Practical Nursing Program
Licensed and in good standing with the Alberta college
Current BLS for Health Provider or CPR Level C certification
One year of recent full-time nursing practice experience
Ability to obtain Enhanced Reliability security clearance
Apply nursing assessment, treatment, education, and documentation skills supporting military personnel at Calian’s Wainwright clinic.
