Key Responsibilities: Teach, model, and reinforce pro-social behaviours
Support students on risk reduction plans
Use communication skills to diffuse escalated behaviours
Provide one-on-one and small-group academic support




Participate in IEP meetings and behaviour planning
Requirements: Two-year Educational Assistant diploma or certificate with related experience
Two years’ experience supporting children with special educational needs
Current CPI or low-arousal certification
Training or experience with complex behavioural challenges
Effective communication, flexibility, and confidentiality
Bring behaviour-support expertise, academic assistance, and cooperative practice to students at Carihi Secondary School.
