Jim Pattison Auto Group has an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Service Technician to join our Subaru South Dealership! We take pride in mentoring and supporting our recruits. If you’re looking to build a successful career as a Certified Technician and don’t mind rolling up your sleeves for physical, hands-on work, this opportunity is for you!

Schedule:
This is a full time, permanent role of 40 hours per week. The regularly scheduled hours will be 8-5 OR 9-6.

A Day in the Life

Carry out the work outlined in work orders efficiently and accurately, following dealership and manufacturer standards

Identify the cause of defects and complete required repairs effectively and efficiently

Demonstrate a high degree of accuracy, sound judgment, and attention to detail

Be comfortable with the physical demands of shop work, including standing, lifting, and hands-on repairs throughout the day

What We’re Looking For

A valid provincial driver’s licence is required, including a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract report

Level 1 Apprenticeship

A positive, can-do attitude

Comfortable performing physical labour in a shop environment
