Deliver community nursing care as a Registered Practical Nurse with scheduled patient visits across Timiskaming, Ontario, supported by Registered Nurses.
ParaMed seeks a full-time Registered Practical Nurse for community visits across Cochrane, Recent Liskeard, Timmins, and Kirkland Lake. You will care for patients of all ages, assess individual needs, and support comfort at home. The position includes autonomy and independent practice within your scope.
Key Responsibilities: Complete scheduled community visits within your scope of practice
Provide ethical, safe nursing care to patients
Assess individual needs using appropriate assessment tools
Execute, monitor, and adjust patient care plans
Maintain professional records for patient encounters and plans
Requirements: Current CNO registration as a Registered Practical Nurse
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
Reliability, flexibility, and willingness to travel
Experience with vulnerable populations
Required on-call coverage, including after hours
Bring community nursing, patient assessment, and care planning skills to support safe care throughout ParaMed’s Timiskaming service area.
