Deliver resident-focused nursing care as a Casual Registered Practical Nurse at Chippawa Creek at Bella Care Residence in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
Reporting to the Director of Care, you will provide nursing practice within a 160 bed long term care facility. Your responsibilities include assessing residents, developing care plans, monitoring changing conditions, and following College of Nurses of Ontario, Long Term Care, and Extendicare Standards.
Key Responsibilities: Provide care according to nursing standards and physicians’ orders
Observe, report, and document resident symptoms and conditions
Develop, implement, review, and evaluate resident care plans
Refer residents to doctors when assessment indicates need
Interpret and implement policies, procedures,



and regulations
Requirements: Appropriate current certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario
Registration or eligibility with the Registered Practical Nurses Association
Knowledge of nursing, healthcare, and infection control practices
Effective human relation skills with seniors
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Bring resident assessment, care planning, and nursing practice knowledge to the Casual Registered Practical Nurse assignment at Chippawa Creek.
