As a Staff Software Engineer, Frontend, you will guide Decisions Orchestration across affirm’s checkout flow. You will shape shopper-facing screens, downstream orchestration, and state management while raising frontend engineering standards. The work spans technical strategy, architecture, operational ownership, and talent development.
Key Responsibilities: Set year-long technical strategy for your team
Design next-generation frontend checkout experiences
Collaborate with product, design, and analytics teams
Establish monitoring, testing, alerting, and operational playbooks
Develop talent through feedback, guidance, and example
Requirements: Eight-plus years developing and architecting web applications
Experience with React, Vue, or declarative UI frameworks
Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
Experience defining technical and execution plans
